Processed Nuts

Our Almonds are sweet to the taste and usually come from the USA or Australia. They are very versatile as an ingredient, incorporated into various different baking recipes. They can also be used as decoration.

Our Brazil nuts are commonly sourced from Bolivia, Peru and Brazil. Useful as a snack, Brazils are rich in a wide variety of nutrients including Selenium. We offer a variety of processing options, Whole, flaked, chopped, nibbed and Meal.

Cashew nuts are widely used in Indian cuisine and add a sweet nutty flavour to any dish. They can also be eaten raw as a snack or further processed into other meals.

Our Coconut products can be incorporated into doughs or cake mixtures and toppings, breakfast cereal and breads to give a coconut flavour and texture. It can be lightly toasted to alter its appearance.

Our Hazelnuts predominantly come from Turkey but are also supplied from Italy or Georgia. They are harvested and shelled at point of origin. They can be eaten straight away or incorporated into various different meals. They have a crunchy texture and are the perfect accompaniment to summer salads or light meals requiring an added flavour.

Our Macadamias are a pale nut with a soft, creamy texture after the initial bite. They can be eaten as soon as they arrive and are a great source of energy, being popular among the running community. Alternatively they can be broken down and added to various recipes or even used to create smoothies to give the same jolt of energy.

We offer a range of processed peanuts either naturual (skin on) or blanched peanuts. We provide a range of processing options such as laser inspected, roasted, nibbed or chopped, ground or made into peanut butter. Peanuts are extremely versatile, used in confectionery, sauces, ready meals, snacks and bars.

Pecan nuts look remarkably similar to Walnuts but differ in a variety of ways. The taste of pecans is more sweet and they are normally a light brown colour. They are used plentifully in baking, the obvious example being the traditional Pecan Pie where these nuts are used in abundance to both flavour and decorate the finished product.

Pine Kernels are a perfect accompaniment to most salads. They have a firm feel to the bite and can often taste a little fatty or oily with an occasional bitter aftertaste. They can be eaten as a raw addition to many foods or can even be added at the ingredients level, sometimes with the addition of a cooking stage to help add flavour to meals.

Our Pistachio Nuts can be incorporated into deserts or meals but are most effectively used as decoration with the option to toast the product to add to the original flavour and alter the colour. They are a great addition to various forms of cookery, being particularly popular as a partnership with chocolate to add extra depth and flavour.

Walnuts have many origins, from India to countries across Eastern Europe and America. Walnuts can range in colour from a light tan to a much darker, almost black nut.
