Services and Expertise
We offer a suite of services to turn raw materials into a wide range of products. From sourcing the finest nuts and fruit, to treating and preparing them in many different ways, to finally packaging and delivering them, we utilise the best technology available and our extensive experience, knowledge and skill.
Sourcing
We source raw materials directly or via BRC accredited brokers. All growers are audited by ourselves or the broker prior to any trade deal being arranged, and sampling the product prior to shipment is a key part of our process. On arrival, all containers and their contents are checked and tested by our quality team.
Cleaning
We have two dedicated pre-cleaning lines containing the latest technology, including laser sorting equipment, bespoke air classification units and grading sieves. Both lines are continually monitored by our quality team to ensure all products meet the highest specifications.
Roasted and heat treatment
We have two versatile roasting oven lines, which offer roasting at various levels and heat treatment of all types of nuts, from 3mm nibbs to whole nuts. We can tailor the process to meet all required micro and moisture levels.
Flaking and slicing
Our in-house steam plant and slicing line has the capability to flake and slice almost any variety of nut, enabling us to offer a wide range of freshly flaked nuts which are usually only available from origin.
Mixing and blending
We can mix most combinations of nuts or fruit and nuts. We have a versatile mixing line which consists of a non-invasive paddle mixer that limits damage to any blend.
Grinding and milling
Our bespoke grinding and milling line produces ground nuts in various grades – coarse, medium, fine and flour.
Chopping, nibbing and kibbling
We can offer all shapes and sizes of nibbed nuts, being able to meet almost any bespoke requirement with our multiple chopping and grading lines.
Butters and paste
We pride ourselves on producing 100% natural nut pastes without any additives, unlike high street brands. Our state-of-the-art paste and butter manufacturing processes can produce various consistencies, from super smooth to coarse and crunchy pastes.
Analytical and quality services
We offer a wide range of analysis services, either in-house or via NAMAS and UKAS accredited laboratories. These include micro, PV, FFA, moisture analytics, protein and allergy testing.
Metal detection
All products also go through a rigorous metal detection system using various current electronic metal detectors and rare earth magnets to meet product specifications.
Packaging
Correct packaging and storage is vital in maximising quality and shelf life. We have two dedicated pre-pack lines. Packaging can be tailored to meet customer’s needs, however, as standard we offer 500g, 1kg, 3kg, 3.5kg, 5kg, 10kg, 10x1kg, 4x3kg, 12.5kg, 25kg, 500kg, 1,000kg and 1,250kg packages, available in various re-sealable bags, pots, buckets and boxes.
Retail packaging
We currently supply a number of retail and online outlets with 500g and 1kg pots and pouches.
Private Labelling
We offer an “own label” private labelling service for existing brands.
A private label product is manufactured by us and sold under a retailer’s brand name. As the retailer, you specify everything about the product – what goes in it, how it’s packaged, what the label looks like – and pay to have it produced and delivered to your store.
Delivery
Most wholesale products are processed to order to ensure quality and maximum freshness, and shipped on BRC accredited transport. For smaller and more urgent orders, we offer a next day delivery service via our online store, which is shipped by DPD.
