Dried Cut Mixed Peel (Orange and Lemon)

Our mixed peel contains orange and lemon which has been diced to approximately 3mm cubes in size. It comes in a glucose syrup to try and keep it moist and has a chewy consistency.

A popular additive to cakes and baking, it can give a great deal of flavour and, because of its initial texture, does not disappear when cooked. If incorporating this product it is worth drying it as otherwise you will not get an even distribution around your bake.
